Multi-day Tours

When you are happy with your itinerary, we will send you a Booking Form advising of the deposit which will be 30% of the agreed price.  Your trip is confirmed when the deposit is received.
As accommodation bookings are not finalised until deposits are received, minor changes to price, accommodation and itinerary are possible.
Many people book their flights while finalising the itinerary as airfares are the most variable part of the cost.
The balance of the trip is payable 60 days before departure.  Don’t worry we will send you a reminder email around that time.

Travel Insurance

We very strongly recommend travel insurance. 

Apart from the obvious health and family circumstance reasons, airlines disturbingly find it necessary to change flight times (and dates). This creates unplanned and potentially expensive costs to your holiday. 

Once booked, we cannot “move the trip back a day” when you find your flight has been delayed. Neither can we refund the costs of the trip. While we will do everything we can to ensure you get underway with your trip, our Samoan providers have been pre-paid and refunds aren’t an option. Travel insurance will go someway to recouping on what you may have missed.

Take out travel insurance at the time of making the booking. Usually that will cover you for flight cancellations plus the usual personal or family health issues that can impact on your trip.  If you live in New Zealand, talk with us about insurance and let us help you get this in place – now.

Payments

Payment is generally by internet banking into our New Zealand account (details on your Booking Form).  We do accept Visa and Mastercard, with these currently subject to a 2.3% surcharge.  Contact us if you wish to pay by Credit Card for your deposit (or balance payment).

Postponements & Cancellations

• Your trip may be postponed up to 30 days before the scheduled start. We reserve the right to charge a rescheduling fee and any direct costs incurred (e.g. no refund offered by accommodation provider). Postponement may be for up to 12 months.
• Trip postponement within 30 days of start.  No refund.
• In the above cases the postponement will be treated as a credit towards a future trip.
• Trip cancellation/no shows – no refund of deposit or payment

 

Bike Hires

Email us the dates and your heights (so we provide you with the right size bike) and we will email you a booking form with banking details that can be paid by internet banking or credit card if you contact us directly. Your booking is confirmed on receipt of payment.

Cancellation Policy (Bike hire only)

 For regular bikes, cancellations more than14 days prior to departure – 80% refund.

For ebikes  full suspension  and other specialty bikes – no refund within 30 days of departure.  

No shows, change of mind on day, early returns – No refund

Samoa is now fully open to tourists and all Covid restrictions have been lifted.  As of 22 September 2022, there are NO requirements for vaccination certificates or Covid tests.
The number of flights available is steadily increasing. Qantas starts flying from Australia in November  and Virgin resumes in March.  Air New Zealand flights are expected to reach almost two a day in 2023.
